Do you know that the Plane tree, omnipresent in many big cities, can be considered as a passive sensor of air pollution?

Ecorc’Air is a citizen science project led by PartiCitaE. The objective is to map air pollution in the urban environment. Volunteers are invited to sample plane tree bark, which will then be analysed in a laboratory to measure its metal content.

In 2025, the Ecorc'Air team chose a comic book as a way to publicise their campaign.
